The last thing Ven Zallow is able to see is the burning city, and the lasers approaching the Temple's surface, as Darth Malgus raises his hood and walks away from the flame engulfed building.
The warriors clash in a duel, which ultimately ends with the Jedi Master's defeat, and Darth Malgus' statement, claiming that the Jedi had been deceived by the Sith Empire, and just because of that, the Republic would meet its end. While the Sith pour out of the shuttle and the fight in the Jedi Temple's entrance hall degenerates, Ven Zallow decides to face his old enemy, Darth Malgus, directly. Even as dozens of Jedi come forth in order to defend the Temple from the invaders, including the Jedi Master Ven Zallow, it's only a matter of a few seconds before a shuttle crashes through the temple, carrying over twenty Sith ready to face the Jedi enemies. He makes his way in with ease, aided by the Bounty Hunter Shae Vizla.
It's the year 3,653 BBY, and the Sith Lord Darth Malgus with his Twi'lek escort, Eleena Daru are approaching the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. Being the first CG trailer for the game, "Deceived" depicts the events of the Sacking of Coruscant, featuring an epic battle between Sith and Jedi. The Deceived Cinematic Trailer was unveiled at Bioware's presentation of SW:TOR at E3 2009.
